Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner looks to be on his way out of the Emirates, and is in advanced negotiations with Stoke City.

There has been much discussion in regards to Bendtner’s future over the summer after seemingly dropping down the pecking order at Arsenal. After once being one of the hottest properties around, he has failed to live up to hype. Crucially it was Bendtner who missed a great chance late on against Barcelona in last season Champions League tie at the Nou Camp.

If Stoke finalise the deal, the forward will be added to several new signings at the Britannia. Though surprisingly this would be their first cash deal. Both Jonathan Woodgate and Matthew Upson have arrived on free transfers.

Stoke are also set to confirm the signing of Cameron Jerome from Birmingham City. This will clear the way for Sunderland and QPR to battle for the signature of Peter Crouch.

The gossip continues!
