After much speculation over his future, Pepe Reina has dropped the biggest hint yet that his future lies at Anfield.
This has been a big week for Liverpool after convincing beating Fulham 5-2, the club final secured the long term services of manager Kenny Dalgish. He took from Roy Hodgson earlier in the season and has since transformed the fortunes of the club on the pitch. They are now just a few points away from Europe, and a win against Tottenham on Sunday will secrue Europa League football.
On his future, Pete Reina told BBC Sport: “I can assure you that I’m looking forward to next season”
The signing of Dalglish appears to have given him a huge boost: “Kenny signing a new contract has been a lift. We have to be optimistic and hopefully we will celebrate the title soon”.
Liverpool fans will be hoping this means that the recent rumours linking Reina with a move to Arsenal, will now fade away.
